Suzuki New Zealand COVID-19 Update
At Suzuki New Zealand we are committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our customers, our dealerships and our staff. We are taking COVID-19 very seriously and have put several steps in place to ensure everyone stays safe.
We will keep this page updated with any new information we have relating to the virus and the impact on our staff, dealerships and customers.
Car, Marine & Motorcycle Dealerships
As a result of the Government’s announcement regarding Level Alert 3, all of our Dealerships will open for contactless trading and servicing as of Tuesday 28 April. In accordance with the recommended health and safety guidelines, customers will be unable to go inside dealership premises, however dealership staff are available to talk to you about your vehicle or boating requirements via phone or email. Our Suzuki dealers are able to arrange contactless deliveries, servicing bookings, and test-drives for vehicles and motorcycles.
You can locate your dealer's contact details here.
- For more information on these new processes for Cars, see here.
- For more information on these new processes for Outboards, see here.
Please be reassured that if your vehicle/motorcycle/outboard is due for servicing it will continue to be covered under warranty during these extraordinary circumstances. This is provided that the service is completed within one month after the lockdown period.
The owner is still required to carry out the basic checks as per their Owners Manual. For example, ensuring the engine oil and coolant levels are correct, tyre pressures are correct, etc. This is to ensure that your vehicle remains safe to use.
If you are providing an essential service, and your vehicle, motorcycle or outboard requires urgent repairs, please contact your nearest dealership in the first instance or submit an online contact form via the website. We will endeavour to answer all contact forms as soon as possible.
We understand the current situation is causing significant disruption to people and businesses. We want to work closely with our customers to manage any financial impacts by getting a plan in place as soon as possible. If you find yourself in a situation where you are concerned about making your loan repayments, please complete the enquiry form here.
You will need to provide the following information:
- your full name (and business name if applicable),
- either your customer number or vehicle registration number,
- what type of support you are after,
- how your circumstances have changed, and
- the best way to get in contact with you.
Suzuki New Zealand Head Office
The office is open from Tuesday 28 April, however during this time only essential staff are on-site and many of the Suzuki New Zealand team will continue to work from home.
We’re here to help and are available through our Contact form to assist with every request, no matter how big or small, as quickly as we can.
It’s times like these that we all need to work together and support each other like Kiwis do when times get tough. We encourage you to take care of yourselves, your family and your wider community during this time.
